Hey Everybody!
Thank you for visiting our website! We are The Aaron Stutzman Family, from Millersburg, IN.
My Story:
I grew up on a small country farm on the outskirts of Shipshewana, IN, with loving parents, two brothers, and three sisters. When I was just a young boy, the Clearwater band became a big inspiration in my life. Clearwater was a local band, led by Dan Utz. There was also a yodeler in the band named Lee Schwartz. I started listening, learning, and singing along to their music, but the songs I listened to most were the yodeling songs. Through the cassette player on the headboard of my bed, I would press play, rewind, and play again. Little by little, I started catching on. I would practice daily, and over time, figured out how to make that unique sound. From listening to their music, Lee, the yodeler, became someone I really looked up to. When I was 9 years old, my world was crushed when I got the news that Lee was killed in a car accident. It was a very sad day for many, and he left an impact in my life that I will always be grateful for.
At the age of 14, I was inspired to become a drummer. I learned to play, and played for the church worship team throughout most of my teen years. I still loved to sing and yodel, but my main focus with music at that time was being a drummer. In that season of my life, I felt like I had hit a plateau with singing and yodeling, and didn't know what else to do with it. In my late teens, I strayed away from my relationship with Jesus and went my own way. My main passion at that time in my life was hanging out with my buddies, and riding motocross. I was in a serious 4-wheeler accident when I was a Jr. in High School, that could have easily taken my life, but thankfully God had other plans for me. The day then came when I rededicated my life back to Him, and he started giving me the true desires of my heart through music.
Soon after I married my wife Jenna in 2009, I was asked to yodel at a church that was hosting a Swiss alps night. At that time, I didn't play guitar, so I asked Lee's brother, Chris Schwartz, to help me out on the guitar. Chris taught me a new yodel that night, which opened a whole new book of what I could do with yodeling. Little did I know what the Lord had in store for me…After that event, I taught myself to play guitar, and started learning and memorizing songs. My uncle Kenny hosted a monthly jam session that started shaping me as a singer and musician, leading me to where I am today.
In 2013, I released my first album called "The Yodeler." It features songs that I learned growing up, lots of yodeling, and also songs that I wrote. In the summer of 2015, I had the privilege to record my second project titled “The Man I Am Today." It includes songs about my childhood, and songs that I feel have in some way, made me who I am today. It also features some yodeling and a few originals. In February of 2019, I recorded an album with the band that was with me at the time, called “Cross Your Heart.” This is a high energy Bluegrass/Gospel album featuring three-part harmonies, along with yodeling and a few upbeat instrumentals. In February of 2024, I released my latest record called “I Saw The Light”. The songs on this album tie directly into my journey of Faith in Jesus Christ, and I am so excited to share it with all of you!
I feel so blessed to now be able to play live music as a family band…Myself, my wife Jenna, our two sons, Wesley(12) & Walker(10), and two daughters, Wrenli(6) & Wryla(4). We long to share the love of Jesus through song, with a fun, Country and Bluegrass style. We would love to play at your event! We play at churches, fairs, festivals, fundraisers, banquets, dinners & more…Contact us for more information!
My goal is to continually lead my family in the path the Lord has called us to, and bring Him glory through it. I am very thankful for my family, friends, and all of the people out there who support my music. Most of all, I praise the Lord Jesus for blessing me with this talent, and I pray that all who listen to my music will enjoy it and be blessed.
Thank You So Much!
